Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 4 to 6 weeks (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Note: Orders may be delayed as a result of COVID-19 safety measures.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping Rate: We offer Free FedEx shipping within the United States. 

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping at this time.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 20 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at contact@hellomateogoods.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes: Due to delivery limitations, we DO NOT deliver to PO boxes. 

Return Policy

Return services may be delayed as a result of COVID-19 safety measures.

Mateo Goods maintains a 2-year warranty on the desk and accessories structural components.  This means if the drawer breaks, or if the core does not maintain its intended structure, we will determine it defective. This must be due to regular and normal use.  We do not warrant the finish. Mateo Goods maintains a 1-year warranty on all electrical components that operate the desks and give it the ability to adjust the height of the desk.

Our company will need several items to review this complaint:

  1. Copy of proof of purchase from Mateo Goods  
  2. Pictures of damage that is being reported.
  3. Serial number and order id (which can be found in your email).

We will review the complaint further when the items above have been received.

To initiate a return : 

We want you to feel like every item you have purchased has met its intended goal. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll help you get it sorted and have you on your way.

You can return most items for a refund or store credit within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping costs apply, and the item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted.

There are a few items that can’t be returned:

  • Clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized items
  • Items marked “Non-Returnable” on the sale page

Damaged or Defective Items

if your item is damaged or defective, these exceptions do not apply. In this case, we’ll take care of it and work with you to find the best solution.  Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

  • For store credit and gift card refunds, we’ll credit your account within 1 business day once we’ve received notification that you have returned your item(s).
  • For credit card refunds, we’ll begin issuing your refund once we’ve received notification that you have returned your item(s). Most banks will process the refund within 3-5 business days.
  • For all other refund methods, please allow up to 2 weeks for us to fully process your return and issue your refund.
